Watch why our patients get success and back to life faster!

Strive Sports and Health is designed for people who are ready to take a structured approach to recovery.

This is for you if:

• You are active and want to stay that way
• You’re tired of short-term fixes that don’t last
• You’ve had recurring flare-ups and want a proper plan
• You are willing to follow a structured rehab process
• You value clear communication and measurable progress

Many of our patients have already tried rest, massage, or sporadic treatment elsewhere. They come to us when they want clarity, accountability, and a defined pathway back to training.

We work best with people who understand that rebuilding strength and resilience takes more than one session.

If you’re looking for a quick adjustment or a one-off appointment with no follow-up, we may not be the right fit.

But if you want a professional team guiding you step by step, with a clear plan and progression, you’ll feel at home here.

FAQs

  • This is for people who are dealing with pain or recurring injuries and want a clear plan to get back to life confidently — without guessing, resting forever, or starting over every time they flare up.

  • We probably aren’t the right fit for you if:

    • you don’t like listening to expert advice

    • you think your pain can be solved by following random things on the Internet

    • you don’t like following a plan

  • Common issues we see include:

    • Neck pain

    • Chronic back pain

    • Sporting injuries

    • Running related problems

    • Performance enhancement for lifters

    • Hamstring or groin issues

If you’re unsure — book in and we’ll tell you if we’re the right fit.

  • Totally fair — and common.

Most people fail because they get

    • generic exercises

    • no understanding of load progression

    • no follow up structure

We work in a team with our experienced Sports Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Women’s Health Physios to make sure you’re getting the progress you want and need.

  • Yes. Your 1:1 sessions are typically claimable through private health insurance, depending on your level of cover.

You can usually claim your sessions under:

    • Physiotherapy (if you see our physios)

    • Chiropractic (if you see our sports chiros)

Your rebate depends on your fund and extras cover. If you’re unsure, we can help you check what you’re entitled to.

  • If imaging is needed, we’ll guide you.

We don’t order scans “just because,” but if your history and assessment suggests it would change the plan, we’ll help you get the right imaging and understand the results clearly.

    Most importantly:

    • we’ll explain what it means for your rehab

    • we’ll adjust the plan based on what we find

    • you won’t be left confused or stuck waiting

Scans can provide clarity, but progress still comes from the right rehab and training load plan.

  • Your first visit is about understanding what's going on and building a plan that actually works. We'll do a full assessment: movement testing, strength checks, looking at how you move in the patterns that hurt. Then we'll explain what we found in plain language (no jargon), start hands-on treatment, and give you a clear path forward. Most people leave with less pain and know exactly what they're dealing with.

We work in three phases: get you out of pain first, then rebuild strength and movement, then keep you performing without setbacks. First session sets up phase one.

  • No. You can book directly without a referral.

If you have private health extras cover, some funds give you a better rebate with a GP referral (check your policy). But it's not required to see us.

  • Depends on the issue and how long you've had it.

Acute stuff (rolled ankle, tweaked back, recent flare-up): Usually 4-8 sessions over a few weeks.

Chronic issues (lingering shoulder pain, recurring lower back, months-old problems): More like 8-12 sessions as we rebuild patterns and capacity.

We don't lock you into packages. After your first visit, you'll know what we're dealing with and what it'll take. You're in control. We're just giving you the map.

  • No. We're here to keep you in the game, not bench you.

If something needs to be modified short-term, we'll give you alternatives so you can keep moving. The goal is always getting you back to full capacity, not wrapping you in bubble wrap.

  • Yes. Free parking at all locations.

It can get busy, so we advise you leave 5-10 minutes to make sure you’re on time to your appointment.

  • No. You get one-on-one time with your practitioner for the full appointment.

No rotating between tables, no waiting mid-session while they see someone else. When you're booked in, that time is yours.

How we get our outcomes?

1. Assess it properly

We work out what’s really driving your pain, what’s limiting your movement patterns, and what needs to change.

2. Fix the weak links

You’ll get a structured rehab and strength plan that rebuilds the key capacities your body needs to live and move pain free.

3. Build back to full training

We guide your return to running step-by-step, adjusting your load week to week so you progress safely and confidently.

About Us

Strive Sports and Health is a physiotherapy and sports chiropractic clinic based in Norwest and Dural, built around one core principle - helping you get back to living fully.

Pain affects more than training. It affects work, sleep, family life, and confidence. Our role is to guide you out of the cycle of flare-ups and back into normal life with clarity and structure.

Our clinicians have worked across the full spectrum of performance. From everyday active individuals to Olympians, Commonwealth Games competitors, NRLW football players, KONA Ironman athletes, elite international powerlifters, Olympic weightlifters and professional bodybuilders.

Exposure to high-performance environments raises the clinical standard.

The same structured rehabilitation principles used to manage elite athletes are applied to everyday injuries, because rebuilding properly should not be reserved for professionals.

Every patient receives:

  • A clear diagnosis

  • A well defined plan

  • Progressive strength based rehab

  • Ongoing guidance to reduce recurrence

We are structured, experienced, and results-focused.

Our goal is simple: restore confidence, rebuild strength, and help you return to the parts of life pain has been limiting.
